Ebay V-drum Scam

Hi guys,
I am looking for a V-drumset so I checked ebay and found a brandnew 6 piece Vdrum kit for 1000$ (normally almost 5000$) .
After mailing back and forth a little bit I checked his emailadress online , because it just sounded too good to be true and he only would use Western Union Money Transfers. I found out that he is a scamartist. After I copy and pasted what I found out in an email and sent it to him. He blocked my emailadress right away and disappeared from Ebay. 2 minutes later the exact ebay listings appeared under another emailadress. So I wrote him to the other emailadress and 1 minute later this post was gone , too.
Never buy something with using Western Union. You can't get your money back with that method.

Back to me, does anyone sell a Roland Vdrumset or knows where I can get a great deal?

Even if you had been able to buy it at that price, it would have probably been stolen gear. Good thing you checked into it.

Did you notify eBay? Not that they would do anything about it, but you never know.

I've had something similar happen to me on Ebay before. Someone will win one of my auctions and then tell me that a "client" of theirs owes them $4,000 and this client is going to send me a cashiers check. Then they'll ask you to send the difference you know owe them via Western Union. For fun I told this guy okay have your "client" send the cashiers check. I have a buddy that is an accountant and he looked at the thing and it was a total fraud as I had expected.

I think it is a safe bet that whenever Western Union is mentioned with an Ebay transaction big red flags and sirens should sound off!

I only accept U.S.postal service money orders because I've heard stories of people calling in Certified Checks as stolen or others that would make up a false story to their credit card company just so they wouldnt untimatly have to pay for the item. Ebay is starting to really get filled with scum bags.

Got burned really badly on an 87 Grand National I bought not too long ago. Even though the guy was totally cool throughout the whole transaction. But when the car arrived, and it wasn't what he said it was, then all of a sudden, no can find the dude anywhere. He owes me about $2300 worth of stuff.
